He retired from Alco in 1967 and was also a farmer. I don't think he and his wife had any children.

In April 1930, Orville Bodine, 28 and single, lived with his parents in Niles, Cayuga County engaged in farming. Inez was the daughter of John and Ida F. Lessley of Akron, Ohio.

NILES - Mrs. Inez Bodine, 71, of 12 Corners Road, wife of Orville Bodine, was pronounced dead on arrival at Auburn Memorial Hospital Monday morning. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Wade Funeral Home, Moravia. Burial will be in Owasco Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 8 S, Main St. Born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., she lived in this area 34 years. Surviving, besides her husband are two brothers, William E. Lesslie of Akron, Ohio, and A. G. Leslie of Rockford, Ala. and several nieces and nephews.

Orville Bodine, 79, of Twelve Corners Rd., Niles, died unexpectedly Monday morning in Auburn Memorial Hospital. Born in Auburn to Cornelius and Elizabeth Bodine, he retired from Alco in 1967 and was also a farmer. Surviving are several in-laws. Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
