Notes for: Hazel D. Bodine
She is named as John M. Bodine's granddaughter in some probate records. They were mentioned in a newspaper article (Auburn, NY?) from maybe December, 1912. It was online and the name and date of the paper did not show. It did not say who her father was, but it had to be Arthur.

Harold A. Dobbin, 74, of 18 W. Seneca St., Vernon, a former Baldwinsville resident, died early Saturday afternoon, Feb. 11 (1978) at Oneida City Hospital after a long illness. He was born in the Town of Butler on April 4, 1903, the son of the late Manville and Mary E. Baldwin Dobbin. He married the former Hazel Bodine on Aug. 3, 1925, at Cazenovia. Mr. Dobbin was a horse trainer and driver most of his life. He was a member of the Harness Horse Assn. of Central New York, and the Oldtimers Club at Saratoga Raceway. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jean Mead and Mrs. Betty Johnson of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Roland Wemesfelder of Williamson and Mrs. Marjorie Sickmond of Elba; six grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Malecki Funeral Home, Vernon, the Rev. John R. Harris of Vernon United Methodist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverview Cemetery here.
