From The Trenton Evening Times (Trenton, N.J.) of 21 Nov 1923: "Mrs. Emerson Bodine, of 26 East Hanover Street, announces the marriage of her daughter, Miss Florence M. Bodine, and Earl E. Large, of this city. The marriage was solemnized Friday afternoon last."
In 1930, Earl and Florence Large were living with Florence's mother in Trenton, Mercer County.

On 16 Feb 1942, Earl Edward Large of Trenton, New Jersey registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 18 Feb 1901 in Trenton, worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and named Mr. Walter R. Large of Trenton as his next of kin.

Earl E. Large, 58, was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital yesterday after suffering a heart attack at his home, 2431 Nottingham Way. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad as supervising operator of the New York Division. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Bodine Large; a son, Donald H. of White Horse, and three grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home in Hamilton Square with the Rev. Philip R. Zink of Faith Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening. Ashlar Lodge 76, F & AM, will hold services at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Florence Bodine Large, 65, of 165 Concord Avenue, Hamilton Township, died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Dayton and was a lifelong resident of this area. Widow of Earl E. Large, she is survived by a son, Donald H., of Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph C. Nini of Cranbury and Mrs. R. K. Schlegel of Yardville Heights; three grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday noon at the Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square, with the Rev. Philip R. Zink of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
