LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. -- Paul Polensky, 72, died Tuesday in Delaware Valley Medical Center, Falls. Born in New York City, he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Polensky was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European and African-Middle Eastern theater. He received the World War II Victory Ribbon and the Purple Heart. He retired in 1982 from Robertson Art Tile Company of Morrisville, where he had been employed for over 38 years. Mr. Polensky was a member of Morrisville Senior Citizens and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6176 of Morrisville. Son of the late George and Susan Monian Polensky and father of the late John D. and Barbara J. Polensky, he is survived by his wife, Eleanor C. Bodine Polensky; three daughters and a son-in-law, Susan C. and Thaddeus E. Krainski Jr. of Browns Mills, N.J., Catherine M. Polensky of Lower Makefield and Caroline R. Sellinger of Williamsport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry P. and Mary Polensky of Charlestown, S.C. and Stephen and Maureen Polensky of Doylestown; a daughter-in-law, Carina Polensky of Old Bridge, N.J.; three sisters, Helen Toth of Cape Coral, Fla., Margaret Boomer of New Bedford, Mass. and Rose Zeller of Ocean City, N.J.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, with the Rev. Richard S. Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m tonight at the funeral chapel.

MORRISVILLE, Pa. -- Eleanor C. Bodine Polensky, 72, died Sunday at Frankford Hospital--Bucks, Falls. Born in Princeton, N.J., she lived in Trenton before moving to Morrisville 53 years ago. Mrs. Polensky enjoyed bingo, reading and crossword puzzles. Daughter of the late Harry and Myrtle Brown Bodine, sister of the late Elaine Frawley and Harry C. Bodine Jr., mother of the late John and Barbara Jean Polensky and wife of the late Paul Polensky, she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan E. and Ted E. Krainski Jr. of Browns Mills, N.J., Catherine M. Polensky, and Caroline R. and Richard J. Mistretta, all of Williamsport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry P. and Mary H. Polensky of Charleston, S.C., and Stephen J. and Maureen Polensky of Doylestown; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Reba M. Bodine of Whiting, N.J., and Mildred A. and Harry Whitaker of Hamilton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George E. and M. Jean Bodine of Ewing and Arthur R. and Jean D. Bodine of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave. Burial will be in Morrisville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until service Saturday at the funeral chapel.
