Slacktown, N.J., July 1.--St. Andrew's P. E. Church was the scene of a pretty wedding this afternoon when Miss Edith K. Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bodine, of Morrisville, became the bride of William Rupert Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Bailey, of Slack Avenue. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Milton Craft, Rector of Grace P. E. Church. Clarence Bodine, a brother of the bride, acted as best man.

The funeral of William Rupert Bailey, 38, of 135 Slack Avenue, Slackwood, who died last night in McKinley Hospital following four days' illness of pneumonia, will be held from the home of his parents Rupert and Jane E. Doncin Bailey, 124 Slack Avenue, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of John A. Hartmann. Mr. Bailey was a member of Napier Lodge, Sons of St. George. He leaves his wife, Edith Bodine Bailey; his parents; a sister, Mrs. Dennis Akroyd, and five brothers, George, John, Thomas, Wilson and Carlton Bailey. The Rev. Paul D. Newell, of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and the Rev. W. Glen Harris, of Slackwood Presbyterian Church, will have charge of the funeral services.

Lawrence Township--Albert Degg, 80, died Sunday in Helene Fuld Medical Center. He was born in England, and retired in 1970 as a machine operator at Bailey Millworks of Trenton. Prior to that he was employed at Lenox China of Trenton. He is survived by his wife, Edith K. Bodine and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday from the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 45 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville. The Rev. Philip R. Zink, assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from1 p.m. until the time of service.
