Jacob and Charlotte Worthington lived all of their married life in Wrightstown where they engaged in farming. Their children were recorded in the birth records of the Wrightstown Monthly Meeting of Friends.

Children: Thomas Chalkley (3 mo. 28, 1840), Martha Ann (12 mo. 7, 1842), Jesse (10 mo. 19, 1848), Charles L. Smith (1 mo. 27, 1855), Howard S. (1 mo. 17, 1858).
