Obituary, Nevada State Journal (Reno, Nevada) of 13 April 1966.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Capital City Mortuary in Carson City for Karen Sue Bodine. Miss Bodine, 18, was killed Monday night in a headon crash on U.S. 50 three miles east of Carson City. She had been a resident of Carson for the last two years. Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bodine of Carson City; a brother, Thomas, now with the armed forces in Turkey; a brother, John, and sister Joyce, both of Carson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Colvin of Oakland Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bodine of Carson City. Burial will be in the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
