George Bodine, 23 AND Mrs. Minnie Brown, 24, both of Tupelo, Coal County, Okla. were married 12 March 1934 at Durant, by H. D. Spanger, J.P.
George L. Bodine, age 10, was living Jan 1920 with his mother and stepfather in Fannin County. On 27 Jan 1944, George L. Bodine, married, a resident of Coal County, Oklahoma, enlisted in the U.S. Army in Oklahoma City. George and Minnie Bodine were buried in Byrd's Prairie Cemetery.

Funeral services for Minnie Bodine, 79, Coalgate, were held Thursday afternoon at Epperson Funeral chapel, conducted by Clay Moore. Minnie was born Dec. 14, 1907 at Milburn to John and Lottie Brown Degraffenreed and died Jan. 6, 1987 at Mary Hurley hospital in Coalgate. She married George Bodine on March 12, 1933 at Durant, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bodine was preceded in death by a sister, Louise, and a brother, Luther. Survivors include her husband, George, of the home; two daughters, Ynaith Palmer, Choctaw, and Thelma Tomlinson, Yukon; a son, J. W. Brown, Republic, Mo.; a sister, Dorothy Brown, Anadarko; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services for George Lee Bodine of Coalgate were held Saturday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pentacostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial was in Byrd's Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Epperson Funeral Service of Coalgate. Mr. Bodine was born December 23, 1909 in Bonham, TX to Jim and Beuna Augusta Harris Bodine and passed away February 10, 2000 in Coalgate at the age of 90. He worked in the Cotton Gin for many years, then became a Coalgate Fireman until his retirement. He was a member of the Coalgate Pentecostal Holiness Church. He married Minnie Degraffenreed on March 12, 1934 in Durant. She preceded him in death January 6, 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Ynaith Palmer and husband Harvey of Harrah, OK and Thelma Tomlinson and husband Leon of Cottonwood, OK; one son, J. W. Brown and wife Ann of Republic, MO; nine grandchildren; several greats and several great-greats. He was preceded by his parents, wife, one brother, one sister and two half brothers. Pallbearers were Glen Haney, Marcey Lambert, Lee Jackson, Darrin Clements, Jimmy Parker and James Price. Honorary bearers were Buck Deloach, Gene Stanley, Arvard McLellan and Joe Pasquali.
