The marriage of Malcolm Windsor Bodine, Jr and Virginia Townsend, daughter of Edward H. Townsend, at the In Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in New Rochelle was reported in the New York Times of 19 April 1959.

Malcolm W. Bodine, 79, of Stamford, husband of Virginia M. Townsend Bodine, died Sunday May 4th. Born in New Rochelle, NY on June 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Malcolm W. Bodine Sr. and Grace Hansen Bodine and had been a long time Stamford resident. Malcolm attended Iona College and was an Aeronautical Engineer who worked on the Apollo Project for NASA. He later owned Electronic Service Center and Bob and Ray Television both in Stamford. He was a warm and loving family man that had great passion for his wife, his children and his dogs. His favorite activities included golf and boating. In addition to his wife Virginia of fifty five years, Malcolm is survived by four daughters; Jeanne Pritchard, Barbara Winkler and her husband Edward, Deborah Mittelholzer and her husband Dominic and Pamela Pargen and her husband John, a son; Wayne Schrimp, nine grandchildren; Barrett and Nash Pritchard, Daniel and Christopher Cerritelli, Mariah Medina, Olivia Mittelholzer, Jack Pargen, Jared and Evan Schrimp, a brother; Andrew F. Bodine and a sister; Susan Yaeger. An hour of visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am immediately followed by a funeral service on Thursday May 8, 2014 at the Leo P. Virginia M. Bodine, age 80, of Milford, formally of Stamford for many years, passed away on February 20, 2018 in Shelton. She was born on October 28, 1937 in New Rochelle, NY to the late Edward and Camille Townsend. An active member of the community, she was the entrepreneur of many small businesses, an avid quilter, crafter and pianist. Her greatest joy was passing along her love for these arts. The culmination of these was to create her favorite event which was hosting the "Holiday Boutique" in Stamford. Virginia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a great passion for her newfoundlands. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Pritchard, Barbara Winkler and her husband Edward, Deborah Mittelholzer and her husband Dominic and Pamela Pargen and her husband John, son Wayne Schrimp, and grandchildren Barrett and Nash Pritchard, Daniel and Christopher Cerritelli, Mariah Medina, Olivia Mittelholzer, Jack Pargen and Jared and Evan Schrimp. Beside her parents, she is predeceased by her devoted husband, of 55 years, Malcolm W. Bodine, Jr. Calling hours are Thursday (TODAY), February 22, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Gulf St., Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
