Miss Helen Bodine, artist and world traveler, died Tuesday at her home in Chestnut Hill. She was 81. Miss Bodine, who took up miniature painting as a hobby, later studied in Paris. Her work was exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the National Museum in Washington and the Woodmere Art Gallery. She received a gold medal for her art work at Milan, Italy. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Florence B. Taylor, of Philadelphia. Services will be held at 11 A.M. today at the Turner Memorial Chapel of the First Methodist Church of Germantown. Burial will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
