From Ronny Bodine:
The marriage of Charles H. Bodine and Fannie V. Kelsey, both of Pemberton, was reported in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 5 March 1884. See the obituary of Helen Bodine in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 1 April 1885. In 1900, Charles Bodine was living with his uncle, William H. Heisler, a bank president, in Pemberton Township and working, presumably, for his uncle as a bank clerk. In March 1904, he moved from Philadelphia to North Adams, Massachusetts amd corresponded with Mary Elizabeth Sinnott in December 1904 furnishing her with details on his family. In 1910, the family was living in North Adams where Charles worked as yard master for the B&M Railroad. His wife Minnie, the daughter of Dr. Homer and Eudora (Welsh) Bushnell, was shown to have borne 2 children, both then living with them. By 1920, Minnie Bodine was widowed and was working as a comber tender in a cotton mill in North Adams to support herself and her 3 children. That year, Minnie Bodine moved her family to Bennington, Bennington County, Vermont. In 1930, Minnie Bodine was living with her 3 children in Bennington, where she worked as a button sewer in a factory. She retired 1956 from the H. E. Bradford Company. Charles and Minnie Bodine were buried in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Minnie Eudora (Bushnell) Bodine, 91, of 119 Spring St., a longtime and well-known resident in the community, died Saturday night at the Golden Age Nursing Home. She had been active until October and had been a patient at the nursing home only since Dec. 27. A daughter of the late Dr. Homer and Eudora (Welch) Bushnell, she was born in Stamford July 11, 1874 and was the last survivor of her immediate family. Her education had been received in North Adams, where she was a graduate of Drury High School. She later graduated from Albany Business College and before she was married to Charles H. Bodine of Pemberton, N.J., she was employed in the office of the old Holden & Leonard plant here. After her marriage, the family had resided in North Adams. Her husband, a station master on the railroad, died about 50 years ago. In 1920 the family moved to Bennington and have been continuous residents. For many years Mrs. Bodine had been employed at the old Allen-A and also in the plant of the old H.E. Bradford Company. She had only been retired approximately 10 years. She had been a member of the First Methodist Church for many years and belonged to Circle II of the church, participating in that program until recently. She was a charter member of the Bennington Girls Club. Her home and family had been her primary interests. She had had great success with flowers and plants in many varieties, many of them special. Her sense of humor was ever manifest and she was fondly known as "Gram" Bodine by the children of the neighborhood. She had been adept at the culinary art. Survivors are one daughter, Miss Ruth B. Bodine, principal at Bennington Elementary School; two sons, Charles H. Bodine, Village trustee and former chief of Bennington Fire Department, and Harold M. Bodine, all of Bennington. Homer J. Bodine, a twin brother of Harold, is deceased. A stepdaughter, Miss Helen L. Bodine, resides in Haddonfield, N.J. Three grandchildren are left: Charles H. Bodine of Alexandria, Va.; Barry L.
