Bertha Bodine was living 1910-1920 with her sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Clarence Connell in Trenton, Mercer County. In 1920, she was aged 36 and single and working as an inspector in a cloth mill. In 1930, age 45 and single, she lived with her widowed sister Susan Connell in Trenton and worked as a cloth examiner in a factory. In 1940, aged 56 and single, she lived with her sister Susan Connell and Susan's daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Paul Stewart in Hamilton Township, Mercer County.
