The marriage of Clarence Connell and Susie Bodine was reported in the Bodentown "Register" of 19 Sept 1902. In 1910-1920, the Connell family was living in Trenton, Mercer County where Clarence worked as a shoe store clerk in 1910 and a wholesale grocer in 1920. Living with the family was Susie's sister Bertha Bodine. On 12 Sept 1918, Clarence Connell registered for the World War I draft in Trenton. In 1930, Susan Connell, 49 and now a widow, still lived in Trenton with her children. In 1940, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Paul Stewart in Hamilton Township, Mercer County.

CONNELL---At Skillman, N.J., on the 7th inst. Clarence J. Connell in the 46th year of his age. The relatives and friends of the family, also Fraternal Lodge No. 139, F. and A. M. are invited to attend the late funeral from his late reisdence, No. 539 Edgewood Ave., Trenton, N.J. on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery.
