Edith Bodine was living January 1920 with her parents in McKean County, Pennsylvania and working as a music teacher. In 1930, Don and Edythe Bynum lived in Olean, Cattaragus County, New York where Don worked as a store keeper.

Mrs. Edythe Bodine Byham of Tampa, Fla., a former Kane resident, died Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock at a Tampa hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Byham, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. Bodine, was born in New Jersey. She came to Kane with her parents and sister when only three years of age. She attended the Kane schools and later studied voice and piano at Ward-Belmont Conservatory. During her residence here, she was a member of First Methodist Church. She sang in the church choir and served as its director for a time. She was active in the Philomathean Club and in various local musical groups. Since moving to Tampa, she attended a Presbyterian church. Mrs. Byham is survived by her husband, Don E. Byham, to whom she was married in January, 1921; two sons, Don Byham, Jr. of Glenolden, Pa., and Bruce Byham of Tampa; a sister, Mrs. S. G. (Helen) Beatty of Cuba, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a nephew. Funeral services will be held at a Tampa funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the family plot.

A well known former Kane resident, Don E. Byham, 73, of Tampa, Fla., died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital at Tampa following a heart attack. Deceased was born in East Kane on Sept. 4, 1895, the son of the late Horace and Florence Byham. He was married to Edythe Bodine, who died in June, 1967. Mr. Byham was educated in Kane schools and was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad as a superintendent of transportation materials at Wilmington, Del. until retiring in 1967. Survivors include two sons, Don Jr. of Glenolden and Bruce, at home; also three brothers, Clyde of New Castle and Maurice and Norman of Kane. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Seminole Presbyterian Church, Tampa. Burial will be in a Tampa cemetery.
