Sara E. Cotton of Willingboro, NJ passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in Our Lady of Lourdes Rancocas Valley Division at the age of 92 years. Born in Florence Twp., NJ, Mrs. Cotton has been a resident of Burlington County for a lifetime, and was a resident of Willingboro, NJ. Baptized in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Sara was a lifelong member of the church. Mother of the late Joyce, Sara is survived by her Husband of 73 years, Harry A. Cotton, her children: Robert A. Cotton of Mt. Holly, NJ; Evelyn J. and her Husband Ronald F. Haines of Whiting, NJ and Harry J. Cotton of Willingboro, NJ. Also surviving are 19 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren and nine Great-great-grandchildren, Sister: Thelma Glynn of Lakewood, NJ and a Daughter-in-law: Barbara Cotton of Lumberton, NJ. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 5, at 11 AM in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 121 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Interment will follow in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the church. Arrangements by PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, Mt. Holly, NJ.
Harry A. Cotton of Willingboro died Monday, August 4th, 2008 at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown. He was 92. Mr. Cotton was born in Medford and was a lifelong county resident. He was a draftsman for many years at the Florence Pipe Foundry and while there, he was the President of the Local Chapter of the United Steel Workers Union. He was also an employee of Alaimo Associates in Mount Holly after the foundry closed. Mr. Cotton was a member of the Toastmasters Club and a longtime member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Mount Holly. Mr. Cotton was married for seventy-three years to Sara Bodine Cotton, who died on July 29th. Mr. Cotton is survived by three children, Robert A. Cotton of Mount Holly, Evelyn J. Haines and her husband Ronald of Whiting, NJ, and Harry J. Cotton of Willingboro. He was the father of the late Joyce. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Cotton of Lumberton; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. and Mrs. Cotton will be held today (Tuesday) at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 121 High Street, Mount Holly. Interment will be in the Mount Holly Cemetery. Cotton, (I note on your website you have his name as Alvin) passed away 6 days later. He couldn't live without her. A friend of mine, Bernie Bodine, introduced me to your website.
