In 1910, Stephen Bodine, his wife and daughter, were living with his brother Albert in Camden, Camden County. Stephen was employed as a streetcar conductor. On 5 June 1917, he registered for the World War I draft in Philadelphia, stating he was born 25 April 1890 in Hartford (whereas the 1900 census gave his birth in Nov 1890) and was working as an inspector for a local telegraph company. The Philadelphia Inquirer of 8 May 1914 reported that Stephen Bodine had filed a petition for divorce from his wife Bessie M. Bodine. Stephen and Julia Bodine were living 1920 and 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Stephen worked in 1920 as an electrician and in 1930 as a theater manager.

Julia L. Beahm was the daughter of Horace S. and Ida L. Beahm. The records of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Spring Garden, Philadelphia, record her birth on 8 Sept 1887 and baptism on 27 March 1893. She was living 1900 in Philadelphia with her parents and her birth date was recorded as Sept 1886 in PA.
