Notes for: David Kellum / Bodine
DNA testing shows that Samuel's father was a Bodine from the Medis line of Bodines. So Samuel's father was probably John Bodine, not Benjamin Kellum. This probably means that Sarah and David, Samuel's siblings, were probably fathered by John Bodine, too.
Ronny Bodine has this David listed as the son of John Bodine (James, Francis, Francis, Francis, Jean Bodin).
From Ronny Bodine:
David and Barbara Bodine were living 1900 in Camden, Camden County, next door to David's brother Harry, where David was employed as a coachman. The census reported there were no children of this marriage. His birth was given as June 1859, but in July 1860 his age was just 1 month, thus June 1860. In 1910, David and Barbara were still living in Camden where David was now working as a wine and liquor salesman. It was noted the couple never had any children. David and Barbara Bodine were buried in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, Camden County.
From Records of the Nazareth Methodist Episcopal Church, Philadelphia.
Married 18 Sept. 1885 David Bodine, 23, born Camden, N.J., coachman and Barbara Ann Dinsdale, 25, born Lawrence, Mass., both residents of Philadelphia.
