Seward Bodine & Edna Jane Conant AND Mary Rachel Goebl, 23, single, Ensign, USNR, of Portsmouth, VA, born in Lorain, OH, dau. of Joseph Goebl & Mary Moody Todd, were married 18 Dec 1953 in Norfolk, by L. W. Strickler, Minister of the Lutheran Church. [Ohio Birth Records list Mary Rachel Goebl born 19 Nov 1930. Other records give the same birth date for George Bodine.]
