MELBOURNE---George Kenneth Bodine, 80, a retired apparel factory worker, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Meridian Nursing Center in West Melbourne. Mr. Bodine was born in Corning, N.Y. He moved to Brevard County in 1976 from Chula Vista, Calif. He had been employed by Michael Stern's Clothing Co. in Penn Yan, N.Y. Mr. Bodine was a member of Masonic Lodge 308 F&AM and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 321 in Dresden, N.Y., and the Corning Consistory. He was Baptist. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elnora Bodine of Melbourne; sons, Ronald Bodine of Okeechobee and Robert Bodine of Hillsboro, Ore.; brother, Norman Bodine of Penn Yan; and four grandchildren. No calling hours are scheduled. Masonic and Eastern star services will be held in Penn Yan, with burial in Lake View Cemetery there. David Funeral home in Melbourne is in charge of local arrangements. The family requests no flowers. Weston, N.Y. - Elnora Bodine, 92, of Hillsboro, Wash., died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Hillsboro Health and Rehab Center. A funeral service for Elnora will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Weldon Funeral Home, East Main St., Penn Yan. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Elnora was born May 23, 1918 in Weston, the daughter of Vern and Mary Faucett Beyea.
