Subject: Bodine Family
Hello, I am the descendant of Mary C. Bodine of Rushville Born 1868, she died in 1937 and is buried in the East Hill Cemetary in Rushville next to her first Husband William P Hacker, together they had one child Lillian Hacker. This was my Grandmother. I have been in touch with Denise who gave me the information about Mary C. Bodine's Father's name and the information was confirmed by living relatives. My Grandmother however married a man named Charles Irven Burns and I noticed on your site that your family has a bible with the Bodine - Burns names, I was wondering what family information that you might have on the Burns, because I do have some information on the Burns family and I know where the Early Burns Family members were buried, the Church and Cemetary have been in my family, for close to 200 years. Also Mary C. Bodine was married at least three times and possibly a fourth, 1st husband: William P. Hacker, B. Feb. 18, 1856 D. Jan. 18, 1906 son of Thomas P. G. Hacker, B. 1830 in Va, D. Aug. 6,1891 in Shelb County, In They had one child together Lillian 2nd marriage to:
Jim (James) Martin, no children, and 3rd marriage to William P. Campbell, no children. I would be interested in any other Bodine or Burns information that you might have.
Thanks, and nice to meet you!
