DARROW - LUCILE DARROW BODINE
Lucile Darrow Bodine, 81, formerly of East Smithfield, PA, died Tuesday, January 18, 1994 at the Troy Community Hospital. She was born May 7, 1912, the daughter of Frank and Bertha Darrow. Mrs. Bodine was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church and also the East Smithfield Good Neighbor Club. She was retired from the East Smithfield school cafeteria. Mrs. Bodine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Katherine Bodine of Bentley Creek; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth Mills of Elmira, NY, Betty and William Swingle of Pine Grove, PA and Marlene and Richard Patton of Bentley Creek; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Melden C. Bodine, in 1984. Funeral services were held at the Vickery Funeral Home in Troy on January 21 with the Rev. Nathan Blow officiating and burial to be in Bradford County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Troy Community Hospital, 100 John Street, Troy, PA 16947. (TGR, Thursday, January 27, 1994)
