Notes for: William D. Bodine
This William Bodine married a Marian/Mariam Selover. A John Martin Bodine married Marian/Mariam's sister, Margaret Selover. I wonder if John and William aren't brothers. They could be grandsons of John Bodine and Martina Brinkerhoff; although, I do not have enough info on John and Martina's sons to know that yet.
The following census info might apply to this William:
William BODINE Self M Male W 36 NY Farmer NY NY
Mariam BODINE Wife M Female W 30 NY Keeps House NY NY
Ida M. BODINE Dau S Female W 9 NY At School NY NY
Grace E. BODINE Dau S Female W 7 NY At School NY NY

He was living in Skaneateles, NY in 1907. I found a William D. Bodine in the Index for the 1892 Federal Census of Skaneateles, Onondaga Co., NY. Listed with him are Udolpha Bodine (his wife?), May Bodine and Grace E. Bodine. This seems to match the 1880 Census of the same location that lists William (36, NY, NY, NY), his wife Mariam (30, NY, NY, NY), Ida M. (9, NY, NY, NY), and Grace E. (7, NY, NY, NY). So, I'm not sure who Udolphia is and why Mariam isn't listed. Maybe they are the same person. Or maybe Mariam died by 1892.
William Bodine was listed alone, it seems, in the 1915 New York State Census Index for Skaneateles. And he is not in the 1925 Index.
My guess is that this William D. Bodine, buried in Owasco Rural Cemetery, is the same as the William D. Bodine I had as a son of Cornelius and Delilah Bodine. That William D. Bodine was born was born about 1845 which matches the date of the William D. Bodine buried in Owasco Rural Cemetery. All this needs verification, though.
From Ronny Bodine:
In June 1870, William Bodine, 26, lived in Niles, Cayuga County with his wife Udolpha, 20, as neighbors to the families of his brothers Abraham and Franklin. In June 1880, William Bodine, 36, lived in Skaneateles, Onondaga County, New York with his wife Mariam 30 and their children Ida M. 9 and Grace E. 7. In June 1900, he lived with his daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Arthur DeWitt in Skaneateles and in April 1910, headed the household there that now included his widowed daughter, Grace, and her 3 children.
