Robert Michael Bodine, May 19, 1936 April 7, 1998
Robert Bodine, director of communication resources with Kaiser Permanente for 30 years, died Tuesday of heart failure at UC-San Francisco Medical Center. He was 61. The native of Michigan City, Ind., lived in Antioch for 28 years. He was a member of Communication Media-Management Association and National Cribbage Congress. He enjoyed his work and being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary C. Bodine; daughter, Suzanne Lescure of Danville; sons, William Bodine of Concord, Michael Bodine of Pleasant Hill and Edward Bodine of Antioch; and four grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill. Arrangements by AAA Cremation Services in San Francisco. Mary Chell McGuigan Bodine Feb. 23, 1939 - Dec. 28, 2007 Resident of Danville Mary passed away from cancer Friday at a residential care facility in San Ramon with all her children present. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin and later lived in Antioch, and the last eight years in Danville. Mary enjoyed several hobbies including jewelry making, dollhouse miniatures and shopping. Survivors include her daughter Suzanne Lescure (Michael) of Danville, sons William Bodine (Jamie) of Antioch, Michael Bodine (Liliana) of Austin, TX, and Edward Bodine of Los Angeles. She is also survived by her father Virgil McGuigan of Concord. She was the loving grandmother of Ryan and Natalie Lescure, Jacob and Jessica Bodine and Andrea Bodine. She was also a great grandmother to Masen Quinones. Mary was predeceased in 1998 by her husband Robert. She also leaves behind sisters Sharon Mosel and Terri Beauchamp of Minden, NV, and Brother Robert McGuigan of Yuba City. The family would like to thank her caregivers Aurora and Livia for their love and support. A funeral mass will be Friday, January 4, at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill, with reception to follow at the Lescure's home, 192 Sonora Avenue, Danville.
