Notes for: Ida Bell Bodine
I think the 1900 Census may give her birth date as Feb. 1867, but I think Feb. 1865 is probably more accurate since she was listed as 15 years old in the June 1880 Census and her brother, Edgar, was born in Sep. 1867.
From Ronny Bodine:
Ida Bodine, age 33 and single, was living 1900 with her parents in Hedgesville, employed as a seamstress. Burgoyne and Ida McDowell were buried in Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.
From Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Marriage Records:
Burgoyne G. McDowell, of Homestead, Penn., station engineer, born 21 Nov 1863 in Allegheny Co., Penn. AND Ida B. Bodine, of Hedgeville, WVa., born 19 Feb 1868 in West Virginia, were married 28 Nov 1905 by Rev. S. Edward Young.
