Notes for: Thomas Bodine

Thomas's son George's marriage record names his father as George Bodine and his mother as Lauretta Fisher.

The Bridgeton Evening News of 6 Oct 1892 reported that Thomas Bodine had been convicted of larceny and on 10 March 1893 reported the jailing of Thomas Bodine Jr. on the charge of robbing the house of his sister, Mrs. Freedom Haywood. Bodine stole about $7.00 and a watch which was found on him when arrested. His birth was recorded in Cumberland County as 8 Dec 1875, but the Social Security Administration at the time of his death recorded the date as 8 Dec 1876. In Jan 1920, Thomas Bodine, 44 and divorced and his son, George, lived with his sister Emma Harris in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York.
