Obituary, The Naples (NY) Record of 21 July 1905.
Middlesex. On July 17, 1905, Mrs. Greyson Lane, who had been ill for some time past with brain fever, passed away, leaving an aged mother, a husband and three small children--one only three weeks old--to mourn her departure. Kind neighbors attended her through her illness and did all that human hands could do to mitigate her sufferings, but without avail. The prayers of the bereaved family, friends and neighbors are that the Loving Father, who notes the sparrow's fall, will lighten their gloom with that hope of immortality and of meeting in a better world, where no sorrow shall ever press the soul. Let us all trust our Heavenly Father more fully, and some day, some where, we shall all realize that all things have worked together for good of those who loved God here on earth. The funeral of Mrs. Lane will take place today from her late home.
Burials in Rushville Cemetery, Yates County.
