In June 1900, Gilbert and Ida Beebe lived in Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware with Gilbert's parents. Her birth was reported as Dec 1880, but the 1880 census noted she was born Dec 1879. In April 1910 the family lived in Sussex County, now with four children. In April 1940, Gilbert and Ida Beebe still lived in Sussex County.

Seaford, May 11---Mrs. Ida May Beebe, 79, wife of the late Gilbert Morris Beebe, died Saturday in the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, here. A former resident of Bridgeville, she had made her home 16 years with a son, Gilbert Beebe of 626 Shipley Street, here. Services will be tomorrow at 2 p. m. in the Harry Darby and Son Funeral Chapel. Friens may call at the funeral chapel tonight after 7. She is survived by two other sons, and two daughters. They are: Howard Beebe, Frederica; George Beebe, Milford; Mrs. Florence LeCates, Bridgeville, and Mrs. Ida Malagiere, Chicago. She leaves 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one brother, George Bodine, Milford.
