Notes for: Gordon Roberts Bodine

First, I would like to thank you for such a rapid reply, I did not expect that. As far as I know, Gordon R. Bodine's Father was Samuel H Bodine. Gordon's Wife's name may have been spelled Lydia, not Lyndia Last name ( Cox ) Bodine . L. Cox Bodine's DOB-1-1-1890 Her DOD 5-29-1973. Gordon R Bodine's DOB was 1-4-1884 His DOD was 3-17-1940. Son of G R Bodine, Russell Bodine DOB was ABT.1914 DOD was 3-22-1951 I know that Russell passed away on Holy Thursday. Russell had sibblings I don't know all of the names, and some may be wrong but I will give you what I have. Herman, Howard, Vernon, There may be an Elenor, and an Ole or oliver not sure . I have no dob or dod on any of these people. Russell had several of his children pass: Joann age 4 DOB 1939 DOD 1943, Raymond DOB 1-31-1942 DOD 12-12-1986, Joyce DOB 8-11-1934 DOD 3-2-2002. Russell's Children are -- Lois, Joyce, Charles (aka) Sonny, Raymond, Gloria (aka) Bitzy, Joann, Carolann. Also remember the name Peterson. Don't know the connection but know it from Mt. Holly. As a child I remember calling her Grandma, but I think she may have been my great-grandmother, just not sure on what side. I hope you have something on this line. Thank you so much for your help in this matter.

I had his name as Gordon Robert Bodine, but his World War I Draft Registration, which he filled out, says Gordon Roberts Bodine.

Gordon Bodine registered for the World War I draft on 12 Sept 1918 in Burlington County. He stated he was employed as a machinist. Gordon and Eva Bodine were buried in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Mount Holly, Burlington Co.
