Notes for: Francis ("Frank") Chamberlain Bodine

There is a Francis Bodine in the household of a Samuel Blossier in the 1880 Census of Mansfield, Richland Co., OH. I would bet it is this Francis Bodine. He was a publisher, age 24, and born in OH. Both his parents were born in NY.

Frank attended the University of Cincinnati and was an instructor at Pasadena Jr. College Presbyterian in California.

(on rereading this, correct the date of Roger's marriage toApr 23, 1926)

Education, Attended U. of Cincinnati. Instr Pasedena Junior College Presbyterian. Residence: 725 East Walnut Street, Pasadena, Calif.

I'm sure there are many off-spring from this group, but I have no more info.

In 1900, Frank C. Bodine lived in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio where he worked as a draughtsman. He reported that in 12 years of marriage his wife Jennie had borne 3 children all of whom were living with them. In 1910-1930, Frank C. Bodine lived in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California now employed in 1910 as a teacher at a drawing school and 1830 as a high school teacher. In 1910, his wife and 3 children lived with him.
