From Ronny Bodine:
The following obituary appeared in the Trenton "Evening Times" of 8 Feb 1896.
Death of Miss Minnie L. Bodine.
Miss Minnie L. Bodine, the youngest daughter of Squire Jesse E. Bodine and Marie L. Bodine, died yesterday after a long penod of ill health. The funeral will be from her late residence, in Hillcrest, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment private. Miss Bodine was made a teacher in the public schools of this city in 1889 and continued in that capacity actively until October, 1892. At that time she was granted leave of absence on account of sickness and was unable to resume her duties until April, 1894. She then took a position in the Cadwalader school, which she filled with great credit until the close of that school year, when she secured another leave of absence and never again was in health sufficiently good enough to warrant her resuming her duties. A sister of the deceased, Miss Emma Bodine, is principal at the Columbus school.
