Chester (Ted) Bodine passed away at the age of 93. He was born February 4, 1909 in Bay City, Michigan and was a resident of Snohomish County living in the Everett and Marysville area for the past 85 years. Ted worked at Robinson Plywood Mill and retired from Weyhaeuser to enjoy his smelting in La Connor and salmon fishing in the Everett Bay. He loved Mariner baseball and Seahawk football along with his roses, daffodils and pumpkin pie. He will be truly missed by his family. He is survived by his beloved brother, Ralph Bodine and Ralph's wife, Helen, who has shown so much love and care for Uncle Ted; nephew, Ed Armbrust; nieces, Marilyn Leatherman, Michele Bodine, Terrie Weisman, Susan Loney and Clarrice Jack; great nephews, Ron, Cliff and Rusty Hovda, Kristopher and Kameron Loney; great nieces, Tammy Drake, Pam Hovda, Kim, Molly and Rebecca Weisman, and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 25, 2002 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at his family's home, 2505 57th St. SW, Everett 425-353-2697. Ted's ashes will be placed next to his loving wife of 62 years, Irene (Perky). Reunited in Heaven. Family suggests remembrances to a local charity of your choice.
