Funeral services for Delos Harley Bodine, 61, Wanette native and retired Oklahoma City electrician, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with burial in Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Roesch Funeral Home of Shawnee. Bodine died Saturday night of an apparent heart attack at his rural home outside Wanette. He had lived in Oklahoma City since 1931 and worked for the Black, Sivals and Bryson Steel Co until 1972 when he moved back to Wanette. He was a World War II veteran, a member of the First Baptist Church of Wanette and a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 36 of Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife Bernice, of the home, two sons, Gregory and Steve, both of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Swanson of Oklahoma City; his father, John R. Bodine of Wanette; three brothers, Ewing of Oklahoma City, Delayne of Midwest City, and Lawrence of Wanette; one sister, Mrs. Yvonne Finley of Shawnee; and four grandchildren.

Berniece F. Bodine, 90, of OKC, died July 24, 2007. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Delos; her son, Gregory; her parents; two brothers; & two sisters. She is survived by daughter, Donna & husband Kenneth; son, Steve & wife Cheryl; daughter-in-law, Mary Keith; 9 grandchildren, Craig & Sherri Bodine, Marvin & Keri Loper, Brad & Christy Bodine, Michael & Rebecca Swanson, Kevin & Mandi Zellner, Chad Swanson, Rick & Christy Black, Michelle Jennings, Bryan & Jenny Roberts; & 14 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank The Daily Living Center, South Park, NC, Sol Amor Hospice and friends for all their love and support. Services Sat., July 29, 2007 at 2:00pm at Olivet Baptist Church, 1201 NW 10th. Burial in Wanette, OK. Memorials may be made to Olivet Baptist Church or Heart in Hands Ministry.
