Terry A. Bodine of Moberly, Randolph County AND Miss Catherine Sager of Mervton, Harvey County, Kansas were married 12 March 1907 at Moberly by N. B. Taylor, M.G.
In 1910, Terry and Catherine Bodine lived in Moberly, Randolph County where Terry worked as an electrician with the Wabash Railroad. On 12 Sept 1918, Terry Ashby Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois. In 1922, Terry Bodine opened The Bodine Electric Shop in Decatur. The couple continued to live in Decatur, but appear not to have had any children as none appear in any census with them.

In 1942, he registered for the World War II draft in Decatur, but claimed his sister, Mary Newkirk, as his nearest kin. Terry Bodine was buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, Macon County.

Terry Ashby Bodine, 59, of 1284 Lake Shore drive, died at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's hospital after an illness of 12 weeks. He was owner and manager of the Bodine Electric Shop, 1136 East Wood street. Mr. Bodine was born Feb. 23, 1886, in Clinton, Mo., and married Catherine M. Seger in St. Joseph, Mo. March 12, 1907. A resident of Decatur for 34 years, he was associated with the Wabash railroad for 11 years, served as an electrical pilot inspector for the Government for three years during World War I, and had operated the Bodine Electric Shop since that time. Mr. Bodine was an active member of the Decatur Lions club. He also was a member of Macon lodge No. 8, A. F. & A. M.; the Decatur chapter No. 111, Order of Eastern Star; the Association of Commerce; the Illinois Engineers' society; and St. Paul's Methodist church. He was a member of the Decatur housing board for four years until ill health forced him to resign. He leaves his wife and three sisters, Mrs. W. M. Newkirk and Mrs. W. A. Hayes, Decatur; Mrs. Helen Burton, Jefferson City, Mo. A daughter, Ella Elizabeth, died at birth. The body was taken to the Brintlinger funeral home, where friends may call after noon tomorrow. Arrangements are incomplete.
His widow, Catherine married 2ndly Alfred D. Kuny (1898-1976) on 22 July 1950 in Decatur and both are listed as residents in the 1952 Decatur (Ill.) City Directory.

Mrs. A. D. (Catherine M. Seger Bodine) Kuny of Macon, formerly of Decatur, died 5:35 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 3, 1988) in the Eastern Star Home, Macon. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with 8 p.m. Eastern Star service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund. Mrs. Kuny was born in Montgomery County, daughter of William and Thresia Seger. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, L.U.B.A. Sunday School class, Women's Society of Christian Women, Decatur Chapter 111 of the Eastern Star, Beaumanior Commandry 9 Auxiliary, Leighton Court Order of the Amaranth 1 and White Shrine of Jerusalem. She married Terry Bodine. He died in 1945. She married Alfred D. Kuny in 1950. He died in 1976. Surviving are her nephews, Frank and Robert Wolf, both of Decatur; nieces, Anita Tuttle, Mrs. Don (Joan) Lahniers, Mrs. Gail (Norma) Eaton and Mrs. Lloyd (Mary) Powell, all of Decatur. Two brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
