Paul Hahn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo F. Hahn, of Emporia, and Miss Leota Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bodine, of Burlingame, were married 27 May in the First Baptist Church of Topeka, with Rev. M. Ray McKay, pastor, officiating.

Paul Leroy Hahn, of Emporia, entered into rest Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Holiday Resort. He was 100. Paul was born Wednesday, September 19, 1917 in Emporia, KS to Theodore "Theo" Fredrick and Clara May (Stair) Hahn. He served faithfully in the Army, loved to work, owned Hahn Rental and Material Company in Emporia and attended First Baptist Church. Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Leota Ardell (Bodine) Hahn; parents, Theo and Clara Hahn; sisters, Ruth Merwin and Joy Mitchell; and great grandson, Trenton Lee Snyder. He is survived by his son, Phillip and daughter-in-law Kay Hahn of Emporia, KS; daughter, Jana and son-in-law Terry Enright of Elgin, IL; nine grandchildren: Aaron Enright, Roselle, IL; Jeff Hahn, Owasso, Ok; Krichin Hahn, Emporia; Kara Hamby, Harlingen,TX; Shannon Myers, Emporia; Tiffany Hahn, Emporia; Jennifer Zeman, Hanover Park, IL; Manda Daniels, Emporia; Chrystal Hahn, Emporia; and fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandsons. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 at Charter Funerals. Reverend Rob Clausen will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the First Baptist Church. The graveside service with military honors will follow at Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to David Traylor Zoo of Emporia or First Baptist Church, Emporia in care of Charter Funeral.
