Notes for: Jacob Albert Bodine

This family came from WorldConnect. The contact person was Kenneth Frank Doig (ken at doig.net).

I am making an educated guess that the following people are all from one immediate family. They were found buried in Ash Rock Cemetery, Woodston, KS:

Bodine, Eula Mae, b. Mar 5, 1910, d. Mar 4, 1921
Bodine, Irving, b. Jan 8, 1899, d. Jul 19, 1974
Bodine, J. Albert, b. Feb 28, 1864, d. Aug 17, 1928
Bodine, Rosa E., b. Oct 7, 1870, d. Sep 7, 1957

I am also guessing that this Jacob Bodine is the sone of Joseph and Christian Bodine. This needs more evidence, though.

From Ronny Bodine:

The birth of Jacob Albert Bodine on 28 March 1864 appears in the birth records of Warren County. In 1900, he appears as Joseph A. Bodine living in Lodomillo Township, Clayton County, Iowa. He reported that in 10 years of marriage his wife Rosa had borne 5 children, all then living with them. In 1910-1920, Jacob Bodine lived 1910 in Ash Rock and 1920 in Lowell, Rooks County, Kansas where he engaged in farming. In 1910, he reported that in 20 years of marriage his wife had borne 6 children, all of whom were then living. Jacob and Anna Bodine were buried in Ash Rock Cemetery, Woodston, Rooks County, Kansas.
