William Bodine served as a Sp5 in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. William and Elena Bodine are buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.

William Diver Bodine applied for a SSN in August 1944 and reported he was born 22 March 1919 in Pennsgrove, New Jersey, son of Albert J. & Fannie (Black) Bodine. He died 11 April 1990.

Lena Mary Capone applied for a SSN in November 1939 and reported she was born 2 March 1919 in Washington, D.C., dau. of Fillippo C. & Grace M. (Morfesi) Capone. She died 16 Sept 2005.

ELENA M. BODINE. On Friday, September 16, 2005, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late William D. Bodine; mother of Patricia Grace Mantzouris and Kathryn A. Huey; mother-in-law of Danny Huey. Also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three sisters. Friends may call at HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, September 28 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of a contribution to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667-2460 or to the ALS Association of Florida.
