Notes for: Emily O. Bodine

I am guessing that this Emily is the Emily O. Bodine who is buried in the New Hurley DRC Cemetery in Plattekill, Ulster Co., NY. I did not have a birth date for this Emily, but I did have a baptism date: August 4, 1843. That would match the birth date of the Emily at New Hurley Cemetery. That Emily was married to a Harvey Griffin.

From Ronny Bodine:

In June 1880, Harvey and Emily Griffin, with their 7 children, lived in Plattekill, Ulster County, engaged in farming. In June 1900, Emily Griffin, now widowed, lived in Newburgh, Orange County, New York in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Annie and George Martin. It was reported that Emily had borne 7 children of whom 6 were then living. Harvey and Emily Griffin were buried in the New Hurley Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Plattekill, Ulster County.
