Notes for: Albert A. Bodine

FamilySearch.com listed a misc. date of 1846 for him and said he was from Wellsboro, Canoe Camp, Tioga Co., PA.

Albert Bodine enlisted in Tioga County on 12 Nov 1861 as a Private in Company B, 101st Pennsylvania Infantry (USA). He was taken prisoner on 20 April 1864 at Plymouth, North Carolina. He was imprisoned at Andersonville and died there of disease on 12 July 1864. His death was reported in a list of local men who died at Anderson in the Wellsboro Agitator of 4 Jan 1865.
