Notes for: Samuel Demarest

He was known as "Sammy the Miller," located at the old mill between Demarest and Cresskill that ground grist for Gen. Washington's army. They had 7 children: Petrus, Hendrick, Cornelius, Maria, Roelof, Jacob and Margrietje.
