Britton--Harold C. Bordine, 51, of 5611 Holloway Rd., Britton, died Saturday evening at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born July 21, 1929 in Ridgeway, the son of Forrest and Helen (Call) Bordine. On Aug. 17, 1959, he married Delores Prielipp, and she survives. Mr. Bordine was a resident of the Britton area for the last 20 years and was an inspector at Tecumseh Products. He was also employed by the Don Martin Gamble store in Tecumseh. Mr. Bordine was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of North Blissfield and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Surviving besides his widow are on daughter, Sherie at home; one son, Kevin at home; his mother, Mrs. Helen Bordine of Tecumseh; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Adah) Bushart of Maybee, Mrs. Harry (Donna) Williams of Prospect, Ill., Mrs. James (Gertrude) Stuart of Tecumseh; two brothers, Orie Bordine of Milan and Allen Bordine of Canton, Ohio.

Clara Belle Walker, 75, of Azalia died Saturday in her home. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Azalia Cemetery, Azalia. Born Sept. 7, 1931, in Ypsilanti, she was the daughter of Carl and Lillian (Rogers) Bruckner. She married Fred Walker Jan. 17, 1953. She was a 1949 graduate of Milan High School and while in high school also studied music under Leo Podoski in Detroit. She then attended Sherwood School of Music in Chicago until 1951 and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1954. She gave piano and organ lessons in her home for more than 40 years and was the choir and music director at London United Methodist Church. She also helped her husband farm. She was a member of Azalia United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Cathy (Kris) DeLaney of Avon Park, Fla., and Clara Belle (Leonard) Ostrander of Azalia; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Azalia United Methodist Church or London United Methodist Church.

TECUMSEH: Delores M. Bordine, age 88 of Tecumseh, Michigan died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility with her family by her side. She was born March 10, 1928 in Palmyra, Michigan to Walter and Josephine (Bohlka) Prielipp. On August 17, 1959 she married Harold Bordine and he preceded her in death. Delores is survived by a son, Kevin (Shirley) Bordine of Tecumseh, MI; a daughter Sherie (Chene) Tripp of Tecumseh, MI; a sister, Frances Bidle of St. Petersburg, FL ; a brother, Marvin (Barb) Prielipp of Deerfield, MI.; four grandchildren, Kristopher Bordine, Kyle Bordine, Cassie (Mario) Rosas and C.J. Tripp, one great-grandson, Sage and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold, two sisters, Wanda Hartman and Elizabeth Condit and three brothers, Howard Prielipp, Merlyn Prielipp and Stanley Prielipp. Funeral services for Delores M. Bordine will be on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian, Michigan with Rev. Peter Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
