Keturah B. Bodine
FLEMINGTON - Keturah B. Bodine died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999 in Lopatcong
Care Center in Lopatcong Township. She was 94.
She was born in Pottsville, Pa., the daughter of William and Rachel
Pierson Braunworth. She had formerly resided in Hopewell before
moving to Flemington in 1926.
She was a graduate of Rider College in Trenton.
At one time, she was a columnist for the Hunterdon Republican
newspaper. She served as the hostess at the Circle Diner in
Flemington for 17 years.
Mrs. Bodine was a member of the Flemington Women's Club.
She belonged to the Flemington United Methodist Church.
A son, William Bodine, died in 1989. She is survived by a son,
Clarence H. Bodine, Jr., of Flemington; a daughter Dorothy Sebeth of
Flemington; a sister, Elizabeth Gantz of Hopewell; four grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held yesterday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in
Flemington, followed by burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in
Flemington.
