HAWKINS-Walter A. Hawkins Jr.. 34 years old, died at a local hospital at 7:30 o'clock yesterday morning. Funeral services will be held at the family residence 1214 Avenue F, at 10 o'clock this morning, with Rev. Robert D. Wilson officiating. Decedent is survived by his father, Walter A. Hawkins Sr.; his mother, Ella M. Hawkins, and a brother, James A. Hawkins. Burial will be in Lakevlew Cemetery. Pallbearers are announced as J. F. Wheeler. G. W. Dickinson. G. W. Clampitt. G. H. Wilder. R. H. John Jr. and A. F. Dickinson.

From her Arizona death certificate, no. 1919-235: Ruth Milis Hawkins died of chronic pulmonary tuberculosis and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Phoenix. In 1920, her husband, Walter A. Hawkins, age 34 and widowed, a salesman, lived in Phoenix.
