Notes for: Minnie Bodine
I think she must have died young, but I'm not sure. Accounts of this family talk about there being four boys and two girls. Carrie and Grace are accounted for, but Minnie isn't. Granted, she may be mentioned in the 1900 Census as being a clerk in a "grocery store," but she would have only been nine years old at the time. That must have referred to Frank and not Minnie. He was twenty-five. I assume it was a mistake or a misreading of the census.
From Ronny Bodine:
In June 1900, Minnie Bodine, aged 19, lived with her parents and worked as a clerk in a grocery store. By April 1910, she was deceased, being the one child noted who died between the censuses of 1900 and 1910.
