Nestor Clay Leamon and Mary Skinner Bodine were married Tuesday, May 13, 1856
1- John Bodine Leamon (son of Mary Bodine and Nestor Leamon) was born Monday March 23, 1857
2- Isaac W. Leamon son of Mary and Nestor Leamon was born October 6, 1858
Isaac Leamon, son of Nestor and Mary Leamon, died May 1859
3- James Irvin Leamon son of Nestor and Mary Leamon was born Saturday June 30, 1860
4- Charles William Bodine son of Nellie (Leamon) and John M(urray) Bodine, was born January 14, 1861
5- Edward Leamon, son of Mary and Nestor C. Leamon, was born ---
6- Lawson Leamon, son of Mary and Nestor Leamon, was born Nov. 10, 1864
7- Nestor Clare Leamon, son or Mary and Nestor Leamon, was born Nov. 28, 1867

I received some email from Jacqueline Delaney (delaney at veriomail.com) in July of 2000 with information about this family. She is a descendant of Mary and Nestor's son, Edward Hagen Leamon. She has more information on that line. One source of her information was jerriannm at yahoo.com (and see ancestry.com file 18463). This other person has Mary's birth date as October 27, 1836 and Mary's husband's name as Nester. Jacqueline's family records spell it "Nestor."

Nestor C. Leamon, 25, of Daviess County, born in Daviess County AND Mary S. Bodine, 20, of Nelson County, born in Nelson County, were married 13 May 1856, by William Vaughan, Minister of the Baptist Church.
Nestor and Mary Leamon were buried in Boone Prairie Cemetery East, Robertson County.
