Notes for: Raymond G. Bodine
RB has a death date of Dec. 16, 1947 for him. Ronny also said that his Missouri death certificate says he was born in Moriston, Missouri. I am guessing that is Marston in New Madrid County.
Raymond worked in the Marston area all of his life. He usually worked on the farms and at the cotton gin. He was physically strong when a young man. He went into service in World War II, but was discharged in 1944. He was sick and died in the veterans' facility at Jefferson Barracks near St. Louis, Missouri. Raymond never married and generally made his home with Lena. He is buried at Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn, Missouri.
From Ronny Bodine:
Raymond Bodine went into service in World War II, but was discharged in 1944. He was sick and died in the veterans' facility at Jefferson Barracks near St. Louis, Missouri. His Missouri death certificate, no. 1947-7347, notes his death was the result of far advanced active tuberculosis. Raymond never married and generally made his home with his sister Lena. He is buried at Mounds Park Cemetery, Howardville, New Madrid County.
