Notes for: Winifred ("Winnie") D. Bodine

From some info on the Internet which was hard to decipher, it seems her legal name was corrected from Winnie to Winifred in 1941. She may have been an orphan.

From Ronny Bodine:

George Bailey was the father of Winifred's daughter Margaret Bodine according to her Michigan death certificate. As Margaret died under the name Bodine it seems apparant they had never married. There was only one George Bailey living in Kalamazoo County in 1900 and it is assumed here that he was the father of Margaret Bodine:

From the Michigan Death Certificate of George H. Bailey, single, post office clerk, born 1885 in Michigan; died of tuberculosis on 16 May 1914 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, and was buried in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Burials in Greenwood Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.
