Here is a picture of William T. Bodine's tombstone. This was sent to me by Nelva (Bodine) Chapline. William was her great-uncle. He is buried in Sunny Lane Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Nelva said that he lived most of his life in Dallas, Texas, but they shipped his body back to Oklahoma for burial at Sunny Lane.
And here is a picture of his wife's grave. This was also sent to me by Nelva Chapline.
From Ronny Bodine:
In June 1890, William Bodine lived with his wife and 6-month old daughter, Orrin, in Cleveland County, Oklahoma Territory. In 1900, William Bodine lived in Ardmore, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory working as a day laborer. He reported that in 12 years of marriage his wife had borne 5 children of whom 4 were then living. In 1910, Louisa Bodine, age 43, lived with her children in Oklahoma City. She reported she had borne 5 children of whom 3 survived and were then living with her. She also reported she was widowed, yet her husband lived until 1933. It is likely she, as Mrs. Louise Bodine, 50, of Oklahoma City who married Ambrose Burnside Georgia, of Ripley, Payne County, Okla. on 31 Aug 1919 in Guthrie, Logan County, Okla. But the marriage was of short duration as A. B. Georgia married Mary Martha Craig in Guthrie on 24 May 1924. William and Louisa Bodine were buried in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Oklahoma City. Louisa (Button) Bodine was the daughter of Martin Robert and Archange (Dragon) Button.
