James A. Bodine, 29, was enrolled as a Private with Company I, 37th Indiana Infantry Regiment 18 Sept 1861 at Lawrenceburg, IN and mustered in 27 Oct 1861. H e was assigned to the Pioneer Corps on 25 Nov 1862. No discharge date.
