Notes for: John Murray Bodine
At the time of the 1870 census, she was living in Daviess County, Kentucky with her two surviving children. It is not impossible that John Murray and his sister Mary Skinner, who married Leamons, were marrying into another Loudoun County family Note these marriages in Loudoun Co.: Mariah Bodine m. 31 Dec. 1836, Thomas Lemon, bondsman Joseph H. Bodine; Mary Jane Bodine m. 13 Apr. 1836, Jacob Lemon, bondsman Andrew M. Cridler. This publication also lists these Bodine marriages: Mary Bodine m. 5 Jan. 1793 (marriage reported 1 June 1801) James Cumings; Winifred Bodine, dau. of John, m. 28 Mar. 1836, James Gheen.
