Notes for: Charles Buchanan Bodine
This family was said to be "of Rushville, Rush County, Indiana." A marriage date of "about 1849" was listed, but I would be wary of that.
From Ronny Bodine:
By 1856, Charles Bodine had located in Indiana and was living in Rush County by June 1860. He remained there for the rest of his life employed as a carpenter. In June 1900, his wife, Rebecka Bodine, age 74, was widowed and reported that she had borne 3 children, but only one was yet living. In April 1910, Rebecca Bodine, aged 84, lived in Rushville. Her widowed daughter Laura lived with her.
